All of our ballet instructors have been technically and classically trained. Today, they remain passionate about ballet and seek to share that knowledge with others who are eager to learn. Dance Prodigy Studios offers classes for beginner, intermediate and advanced ballet dancers utilizing the Royal Academy of Dance technique as well as Pre-Ballet for 2-3 year olds and Ballet/Tap Combo classes for 4-5 year olds.
What Ballet Method & Technique Dance Prodigy Studios Utilizes
We follow the RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) curriculum for our Ballet level I-Advanced classes to create a consistent balance from instructor to instructor but also utilize the flexibilty of the Vaganova method when we approach our class structure. We will also incorporate some of the arm and body placement from the Balanchine method in our more advanced ballet and pointe classes.
Note: The RAD curriculum is the same curriculum used by the Texas Ballet Theater's School of Ballet.
